Technical details
- Power supply via either the RS485 interface (up to 0.75 A) or an external standard 24 V DC ± 10% power supply when multiple devices are connected
- Maximum cable lengths of 50 m under favorable environmental conditions
- RTU devices are created in siineos using their device-specific Modbus ID
- Termination resistor: 120 ohms
Integration
The gateways can initially be expanded using any number of HUB-RTUs. In practice, the number is limited by the maximum power consumption, the number of data points, and the transmission frequency. The Modbus RTU protocol also imposes limitations based on the baud rate and can only transmit a certain amount of data sequentially over a single channel. However, this information is displayed in siineos, so you can simply add another gateway to restore sufficient capacity.
